Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using PaletteKit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

PaletteKit is a web-based color palette generation tool. It offers a free tier with algorithmic generation and a paid Pro tier with AI-powered analysis. Features may be modified, added, or removed at any time.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One person per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. Free plan

  • Limited to 3 generations per day.
  • Algorithmic palette generation only.
  • All export formats included.
  • We reserve the right to modify free tier limitations.

5. Paid plans (Pro / Team)

  • Billed monthly via Stripe. Prices displayed exclude applicable taxes.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for partial months. Refunds may be granted at our discretion within 14 days of initial purchase.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
  • Scrape or bulk-download content.
  • Create multiple free accounts to circumvent rate limits.
  • Upload malicious content or malware.

7. Intellectual property

  • Palettes you generate are yours. You may use them freely in any project.
  • The PaletteKit name, logo, and source code remain our property.
  • User-uploaded screenshots are processed for palette generation only and are not retained.

8. Limitation of liability

PaletteKit is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Madagascar. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Antananarivo.
